The hotel is in a very quiet location and has a large garden and enough parking spaces. The associated brasserie is simply equipped, breakfast and dinner good. We ordered steak "rear" and received it in a way that is not really common in England. We were made aware at check-in that there would be a wedding party on the last evening of our stay. We hardly noticed any of it.
There's no safe in the room.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
The Double Room provided a cozy atmosphere with a lovely view. While the complimentary tea selection could improve, I enjoyed the hearty breakfast. Room service was prompt, even during peak hours. A suggestion, check room furnishings for minor upkeep before settling in!

Breakfast was described as fabulous, but was quite disappointing, especially for the price.

Nothing too much trouble, loved this place and recommend. Sincerely, it was a really comfortable stay for the 3 nights of our stay. Location: the hotel was really close to the main restaurant, a nice park, and Oxford. Popped in Red Lion for shots before sleep, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.
